TRANSCEND
Tina ART Zone - Pacific-Inspired Art Creations
Talofa Lava to You
I hope this latest post finds you well.
Anyway, this week been practising the Art of Perspective'... and how the same kinda things can be seen from all sorts of different angles, heights, lengths, widths, or strengths etc...depending on where your 'line of view' is....and coming from....it will give a different meaning, and relay a varying emotional response (feeling), depending on the view of the viewer.....Much like 'opinions' (thoughts)....everyone has them, but not all are the same.
I've found that being in the rural countryside is good for uncluttering of the mind, for a start. The clearing away of noise of over-activity and over-function, from a City-life, and stripping things down to the basics and bare essentials of just being present in the moment, with more clarity beginning to unfold more and more, each time into a bigger clearer picture of purpose.
So, while holidaying in the countryside, spent a few days, just winding down....then gradually immersing in the exercise of re-shaping and re-hashing small visual spaces, like un-used under-utilized walls around me, which just collected dust and cobwebs...with not much to jump out at you to inspire the spirit into different dimensions of feeling, thought, action or energy...which is ok, if you're inspired into action by an inward force naturally....but if you're like me, a 'visual creature' who needs to see stuff....then, even the walls had to say something 'profound' to me daily...lol
So, set about with the task and challenge of Transforming the blank and empty wall-space into something more purposeful. With a directive statement which would inspire and say something like "when you look at me, you will be elevated, from now on each and every time" ... So, that is the 'brief' I gave myself to change the perspective of a blank wall-space, and transform its once 'flat-state into something more full of dimension and make it 'pop with purpose'...
I used organic material gathered from the outdoors,...resources where ever I looked. Natural material, wood, twigs, smoothed rocks, stones, feathers, beautifully shaped dried fern leaves, flax plants, even a large pine cone... Whipped it all together and came up with this....
Now its worth looking at, just for the sense of wonder it brings....Nothing flash, but definitely added more scope in a good way...Giving something a different perspective. Changing up the view by adding dimension and a bit of depth... And this is the detail of the pinecone....Its interesting how someone had described this upon seeing it ....Was so cool once I knew....and I had no idea previously....come over to here
TinaARTZone to follow that thread...
The real overall outcome to all of this, exploration, transformation, experimentation, the changing up of, and challenging the perspective, and with some practice....is when you become 'finer-tuned', with a more 'honed' frequency level even, that you begin to identify quickly, notice things sooner, resonate at speed, to a core understanding of this... which is....
....Creative Beauty Just Is.... and to Rise-Above each and every layer and level of understanding....to reach a state of purer and purer Creative Being...to finally see those Gems, hidden all around..

Creative Essence...Picking Up from Where I left off
Tina ART Zone
Wowza....
its been like almost 4 years, since I was last in here, writing all of my other thoughts, dreams, aspirations and plans,...which some were beginning to pick up traction and momentum around...which was great, as had put in alot of work to put things in place, at the time, to start things off and get the ball rolling in those directions....which were meant to be uplifting and beneficial all round....but, then things happened, as they do....which put all of it on the back-burner, for a long period of time....
I won't go into the detail of it all, but lets just say it was a long and arduous road. With lots of unnecessary hurdles, delays and uncertainties, which left me no choice but to put all of my beloved Creative Work, focus, and dreams on Hold, until such a time as now to finally return, and re-collect and resume on the things which have always brought to me the most satisfaction, joy, peace, harmony and happiness. My Zen, My Bliss....simple Creation. And it really feels so good to be back in that Creative space, which I call home.
This Creative home, is one which has no restrictions, has no boundaries, has no walls. In fact, it houses the spirit and energy of Creation itself, therefore everywhere is 'home'....to a person who carries that spirit in their soul, and it resonates harmoniously with them. Yes, a frequency which some are totally tuned into, and vibration picked up on.
Some places of course contain more of that creative energy than others, like 'boosters' it can completely sweep you into a 'flow' zone, because of its magnetic strength....and you become a vessel for the manifesting of Creative Energy into the language it wants to speak, and in which form it will eventually take.
You become like an interpreter of a foreign language, one which is told, shown and interpreted in a different and visual way. Like a phrase or sentence spoken into solid mass and form, to exist for what it is, and what meaning its trying to say for that moment.
A language of Creation, either drawn, painted, sculpted, moulded, built, constructed, sung, written, served or spoken into existence, through us humans, to each other so that we receive those messages communicated at the source of a 'heart-to-heart'...conversation of pure Creation and Vibe.
In fact....check these out....tell me there ain't no Creative Vibe or Frequency and communication going on here...? A Visual Interpretation in forms and shapes we know, and recognize...
Its pure Creative Essence...in its finest form....& No, my stuff was never influenced or inspired by any of these awesome and amazing visual appearances in crop circles...but, mine came to me organically as something resonating in my own rhythm for a long time, inspired by my own love of geometrics, shapes and forms inspired by nature around us, and well before I had even set sight on these outstanding and 'other-worldly' displays of visual masterpieces...which are so incredibly precise, its 'pure-essence'...
Click through here now, and check them out...amazing detail in the forms...just out of this world !
And this is what has carried me through so many years as my beacon,...written many several years ago..to eventually lead me home,.. Creative Home...again..
Great to be back and On-Track.... :)

Needle In A Haystack
And Learning to Stand Out!!
With so many people competing for the same work positions, and the countless hours spent in online recruitment websites, sending off countless 'cover letters, C.V or Resumes and References to all the listed job vacancies, the hours of phone canvassing, to prospective employers, sifting and applying through local newspaper job ads, door knocking whole industries even, for just one glimmer of hope - it could almost leave you feeling defeated - especially if it comes to 'very little' for all your efforts - not even an acknowledging 'call-back' or a 'thanks for applying.....but....'
If this is how its been for you lately, then take heart - its times like these, when 'whole industries need inventing', just so YOU can fill the top spot, and to stop searching in vain for the elusive 'needle-in-a-haystack' syndrome.
Time to step outside that 'closed' and limited world of 'chasing one's tail', and instead CREATE a NEW world of perfect career, with endless possibilities, and income to match. Time to create your own 'needle', and to heck with the rest of the 'haystack'! And,... at least you have more of a chance, to be discovered by a metal detector, because you're made of different stuff, altogether.
The point being, you can become incredibly innovative, in your pursuit of individual expression, and ultimate freedom.
The only mystery to any of this really....is deciding - What do YOU want to Specialise In?
If you're through with competing with hundreds of others, for 1 job....If you're frustrated with knowing exactly what you're good at, and no one else seems to recognise it....If you still remain hopeful, and optimistic, even in these uncertain times, then you owe it to your own sense of well-being, self-esteem, and confidence to begin setting yourself apart, with an interesting and creative 'Point Of Difference', that will make a huge 'impact' in how others see you, and catch the eye of prospective clients, or future employers.
By simply defining yourself, and your skills, accurately, this will help to create the perfect work environment, and job description, for you. With constant defining, and aligning, with whats in your heart and mind to do, then gradually, you begin to Custom Build Yourself a Job or Industry, just by believing it can be done. Especially one, which perhaps previously, you tried applying to, amongst many other applicants, in a job vacancy advertisement, only to find you weren't quite the 'right' fit, according to someone else's opinion. Or, one which was never advertised, but you were always interested in, and curious about.
Well, give yourself full permission to 'jump the queue', and create your own job vacancy, that only you can fill. One perfectly matching your specialised skill and knowledge. Because YOU wrote the Job Description, to match YOU exactly. You didn't wait to be asked to attend some 'hopeful job interview', outside of your control, praying to land a job - no,... you by-passed that whole process, and hired yourself as the best person for the newly created position, anyway, because you Custom-Built it, only for you. One that came from your own mind, and heart, because you care enough for yourself, and loved ones, to at least try.
This too has been my story, based on frustration with a job market, which never gave me a decent 'look in'. Having worked intensively for many dedicated years in a technical industry - the recession, soon saw to it, that I wouldn't anymore. And regardless of experience, and highly technical and legislative knowledge, of an industry,...no job, previously applied for, battered an eyelid.....until very recently...but,... more on that later, in this post.
Our household suffered the consequence of this, as a result. Things were lost from our lives, which we worked hard to gain, as is always the case, when relying on something, outside your control, for livelihood.
So, when my morale got low, from all the fall-out, I instead used it as a 'spring board' to jump into study. With a view to gain new insight into business creation and management.
Once studies were completed, it gave me a new perspective, motivation and inspiration, to apply the newly acquired knowledge into creating businesses, or custom-building a job, especially tailor-made, to suit my skill base 'wish list'.
My wish list initially consisted of mainly these:
1) Create income from what I love to do
2) Create, build and maintain a body of personal works
3) Specialise in chosen field
4) Create National and International awareness
5) Establish brand
6) Live the Dream!
Long hours of commitment, dedication, perseverance, persistence and focus, have all accumulated into what I've managed to achieve so far.
Often 'clocking up' well over 30 hours, some weeks, of unpaid time, just to see something worthwhile through, and to inch closer to a lifestyle, I only imagined, was possible.
Many several websites later, all with a dedicated body of work....and one, in particular which is number 1 on the Google listings, out of a search of over
10 . 5 million, & is high on both Bing and Yahoo search engines - I think I can safely say,... I've achieved at least 4 target goals on my wish list. Something which I'm grateful for, and has been hugely rewarding, on a personal level.
Things will only get better, over time. And hopefully, far exceed all my initial expectations.
Its all about taking control of your situation, and not settle for anything less. Especially when there are way better things on the horizon, that you can have a direct hand in creating.
Become that giant, and widen your perspective - not only do you see whats ahead, but you also develop peripheral vision too, and begin to see whats all around.
And, as you begin to see everything, so too, everything begins to see you!
Futher, about the matter I mentioned previously, regarding having applied for a particular job... Anyway, I went to an interview, last year in October, the interview wasn't successful as they hired someone else. But, the initial impression left, at that interview, impressed the employer, that, just this morning, I recieved a 'call-back'...and.... was basically offered the job, as the company is fast expanding, and I came a close second, from their initial interviews, from last year.
This of course is exciting news, and am very happy with the situation.
Because nothing can be predicted, and it could have gone either way,...I'm glad to have utilized the time, last year, to set up and establish all my other goals, and to create the awareness and presence, in something I love...Art & Creativity, Design, and Writing... I will continue to manage and operate my creative projects, even while I work the new full-time job, which in these times, am hugely grateful to have the opportunity for,... but, I'll very much be living for my passion of the Creative Arts, still!
I'll not let it go. Everything is possible.
And funnily enough, just on the eve of recieving this late 'call-back' recently, from the old job interview, from last year, in a whole other industry....I'd actually just put finishing touches on my 'trademark' & Logo for my other niche business venture.....which is on the verge of 'Launching'.... Will it all be too much for me now?.....Am very much of the belief, Everything Is Possible....I can work, full-time, & continue to manage the other projects.... Besides, I've dedicated so much time & effort in establishing a presence, and awareness, and aligning with my core competencies, I'll not give up on it, now!
So, at this juncture,.. don't ever give up on yourself, your dreams, and aspirations.
Keep going with your plans, and utilize your time accurately. Continue to build your perfect position in life, no matter what.. And trust yourself, to always achieve, what YOU set out to do.

Creative Foundation - Moving forward
First of all, Happy New Year to all. Its been several months now, since I've written, but just found myself incredibly busy with other matters, that took some priority. And with the festive season, not long past, that also was a very busy time, spent with family & friends.
For this year, I hope all will be well during these coming months ahead. And that things, especially in the economic front, will somehow settle - I'm not too sure 'how' - but, still I'm hopeful for the best for everyone.
Time to evaluate what ever plans we have in place, for this year, and thoroughly see them through, and to 'tick all the boxes' as we go, in achieving our goals.
I know for myself, I've managed to tick the box of 'health & fitness' & to a large degree, weight-loss, even. So I'm pleased to maintain that goal, & having kept the weight off successfully and become more active in fitness, and made better food choices, along the way.
Another thing I'm pleased about is the launching of my much anticipated website....In my last posts, I'd mentioned about 1 or 2 sites I was preparing to launch, but with time restraints and other priorities, wasn't able to get them off the ground then.....but, am finally happy to have completed one of them, at least, just this week.
Alot of effort, time & planning was put into the creation of this site, but, when you have your mind set on something, then its definately possible to make it happen!
Heres the link below. Please do check it out. Its not only a retrospective look at what I'd already created, these past years, but, also serves as an honest statement of who I am, as a Creative Artist, and how I'd like to continue on, in this particular journey.
Click this link below, to check out the gallery:

This year, I plan to establish, more firmly, the businesses which are already beginning to take shape, and create the awareness necessary to gain them momentum. With several other ventures in the cards, its looking to be a very busy year ahead, but am really looking forward to the challenge.
It definately takes time and effort to set things up, exactly how you'd like, but, I believe its all worth it, eventually.
I hope you continue to follow me, on this journey.
Until next post. Take care, and I'll write again, soon.

Tina INK: TATTOO ART: Drawing On Skin
"The action of drawing on skin either, illustrations, patterns, shapes, designs, words, or images, with the use of ink-infused tools, to draw through the skin, delivering the lines, shades, tones and colours of an overall intended image"
Here, I'm not gonna go heavily into the origins or history of Tattooing so much, but instead share my own progression in this area, as its something I've considered diversifying into for a long time, based on the many requests received.
The Art of Tattooing is an interesting one. Attitudes toward them have changed dramatically over the years, as you see more and more people, the world over, choosing to wear one. All of varying degrees, sizes, colours, and styles. With some designs being detailed and intricate, leaving you wondering 'how'd they do that?', to other designs being small, simple, and subtle. And all personal to the wearer. An expression of individual character, culture, and flavour.
Nowadays, its been associated with the glam industry too, with high profile celebs proudly showing their 'inked' skin as their personal statements of who they are, what they're about, and whats important to them.
The Tattoo has evolved into something more accepted and accessable to most people, in general society today. Even though its been around for hundreds of years, particularly within the indigenous cultures. And with the amazing selection of creative designs currently available, or yet to be created, then the whole industry is in excellent stead for not only a renewed ressurgence, but with a heightened vigour.
In the Samoan culture, historically, the sacred ceremonial application and process involved with being especially chosen and bestowed a full traditional 'Pe'a' Tattoo (traditionally for high-ranking males) or 'Malu' Tattoo (traditionally for high-ranking females) were a significant display of status, within a community, and what that person means to that community. And how they represent in all things 'traditional and customary within the culture, and a respected 'rite of passage'. While this full customary process is still practised, by some, using all the traditional tools, preparations, and protocols,
a newer generation, of Pacific tattooists, have evolved the designs into a more contemporary variation, while still maintaining specific cultural motifs, from the original Pe'a and Malu, to identify with, as all symbols, in the original, have special and significant meaning.
Sonny Bill Willams NZ Sports Icon (Right)
No, I'm not the designer of his sleeve.
But, when I did design a 'sleeve' (Left) for a family member, I firstly researched all I could find out, about cultural patterns and symbols, as this is what I based the heart of the design around. I found it both interesting and fascinating, to learn what most of the symbols meant. And that they weren't just random 'designer' shapes, but actually hold great significance as separate parts of a whole. Once I understood this, I began to create the design, with the use of the coded symbols. It just felt right.
So far, this is how my design appears on the arm. It is still yet to be completed, but, the tattooist has a blueprint copy of the design, to work from, in order to complete it. But, it is now my preference, to train in this area, so that I can eventually tattoo my own designs onto people, as they require.
More designs are being requested for me to create, and I'll upload, only after the recipients have seen and approved of them first. It takes a bit of time for me to create detailed finished drawings, of a good standard, so thanks heaps for the patience. Other 'free-style' designs, I create, will be uploaded, both in this blog, and on my other website, I'm continuing to work on, and will combine all of my workings, into that website too.
Like most specialists, its important to have some credentials. You wouldn't go get an aching tooth pulled out by a Hairstylist, unless they were a Dentist too...lol...But seriously, if seeking a tattoo, make sure the Tattoo Artist is proven. Check out their work first, always. The permanence of tattooing is that important! Nothing worse than paying your hard-earned cash only to find your 'Tat' ain't a 'happening' thing. Don't live in regret, just do it right the first time. But, still, thankfully theres some amazingly gifted Tattoo Artists out there to tidy up any mistakes accidently made by another. So, its always important to research thoroughly first, before making any long-term decisions in this.
And just to 'err' on the side of caution here. If you're a young person reading this, and you're interested in a Tattoo, and still under the care of your parents, I recommend talk to them openly about it first. They only have your best interests at heart, until you're mature enough to make your own decisions.
To everyone else, keep tabs on this space, and I'll update you as I go with my upskilling into this area of Tattoo Art: Drawing On Skin ! My new business venture, 'www.tinaink.com'...
Link through to * Tina Ink * here!
I'll share with you, through this process of setting up, how you can establish a viable new venture, in anything you decide. As long as you have some skill or knowledge and experience of something, then, thats good enough to consider expanding into as well.

Inspired to Shape A Destiny
Due to the economic downturn, which has affected and impacted on so many millions of livelihoods, the world over, including my own, I decided that instead of feeling defeated by the recession 'monster' I will try to do something about recovering some level of 'know how' to keep away the money blues. So, after the downturn ate away at what was left of my job, leaving quite literally nothing but memories, I instead turned to study as a means of upskilling, upgrading, improving, and evolving. Evolving as a means of not just survival, but of creating a life which would resist any future such thing as recession. My goal was to create a life which had no reliance on outside factors in order to function fully and completely. And one which will teach a better way of remaining optimistic and upbeat in uncertain times.
My journey led me to a fantastic and supportive small course provider team, based in my local area. The tutors were all 'top-class' professionals in their chosen fields of expertise. The clients they catered to were those who wanted to either, learn more about, or even begin their own, businesses. Apparently the subject levels we studied, were alot more advanced than we'd anticipated, and consisted of an array of topics ranging from; Strategic Profiling, Internal and External Analysis, Evaluation of Alternative Strategies, Legal Planning, Marketing, Management, Human Resources, Finance, etc. And all topics came with their own sub-sets of further core subjects. I wondered whether I could handle being back in study mode, and the challenge of discipline that came with it, but then decided, the alternative was far worse. So, after a long period of being a student again, and learning and absorbing, I finally graduated from the programme. What a great feeling! An awesome experience. A new-found vigour and vitality to go out and tackle the world with...Armed with 'useful tools for the purpose of building.
Ok, so here I was now, with a level of 'know how', I didn't have before, to do with, what I pleased. And I did. Being a creative sort, instinct led me to create a product. It became 'Stoneline Creations'. A series of original hand-crafted stone pendants, inspired by the pacific, and influenced by history. Miniature stone sculptures all telling a story within their carved lines. Motifs, borrowed from an ancient past, to renew and welcome the present. Working with these stones has helped me embrace my culture again, and to want to find out more about it. "A simple stone is a foundation from which to build. All it takes is a single step" That step continues to lead me on a journey of meaningful discovery.
Also, here is how 'Stoneline Creations' has evolved into an alternative existence. Preserving itself into another way to be enjoyed.
Visit *Stoneline Ceations* framed Art site.
Additionally, the sketched art has always been a strong focus of mine. Ever since a pencil could be held, I was drawing. Nowadays, its 'not' only just a hobby or pastime, but has grown into something more viable, useful and relevant. So, I'm excited to continue pursuing this area of interest, as it gives a great deal of personal satisfaction. Its an activity, that makes no demands of me,..comes with no unreasonable expectations,..and has no strings attatched. Its a blessing, to fulfill dreams with, and overcome challenges by. It was with me, when nothing else was, and while others jumped on their 'high horse of judgement', it remained with me through the darkness. And I place all my original drawings under the brand name of Michaneo Designz. Presently, am working on some abstract free-style pen & ink drawings, and finishing off more detailed pencil sketches, to increase the body of work within overall portfolio.
A few weeks back, was able to purchase my first domain with a plan to maybe do a study of Oceanic Art, and display the findings on the site, as well as use it as a permanent home for my stuff too. The landing page is already starting to take shape, and coming together nicely. So I can't wait for the whole site to be completed and finally published. Am really wanting to keep it looking professional, so every effort is being made to keep it that way. There will be an area, in the site, where people can write to give feedback on what they think about it, and any suggestions of ways where it needs modifying or improved. I'm looking to publish it proper, in the next few weeks, so do keep an eye out for it, as I have lots of interesting plans for the content in there.
Also, out of concern for the way the economy was leaving a negative impact on peoples lives, and their ability to earn for their families, I wanted to create a solution, as the statistics painted a very grim picture. So, 'axionwork service' was born. A small business specialising in assisting and supporting individuals back into paying jobs. Success was had, with helping others gain back some level of confidence for themselves through this, and thats all that matters. In this life, "We're all in the same boat, but at least now, you have a paddle" And they can continue to move forward with their goals, with more strength and optimism. Empowering others, through whatever means, is one of my inspirations.
There are several other start-up projects in the making, all designed to try making a difference.
I believe everyone deserves a chance to be successful, and to not settle for less, to achieve in something bigger than themselves, and gain valuable tools to shape a more sustainable life with, and relax into a worthy future to be enjoyed.
"Do the thing you know, and the thing you know will do" Find your niche in life. That niche will serve you well.

Creative Mindset
Boundless Creative Curiosity is what first led me to know Art. A place, where I can best express, and experience the world, in a way that is, the most Freeing
There, nothing limits what can be achieved. Its not based on limitations, and not bound by lack. Instead, this freedom allows ideas, intuition, and emotional journeys to form into creative fountains. To overflow where they may, quenching as they go, and coloured by the many moods, which carry them thousands of miles. To ones own, sense of Place, and to anothers own sense of Purpose. Finally to arrive at a sense of Peace. And to know everything's gonna be ok.
As a child growing up, I'm grateful to have known that freedom and understood it. That magic key to expression, unlocking an inquisitve mind into creative possibilities, with a chance to make things happen, when all else around served to control, conform, discipline, manage and maintain. It was the only thing which helped to preserve my spirit, stayed flexible and true, offered endless solace, kept me enthused, and guided me with hope, that all will be well. And at 13 years of age, I became an entrepreneur. A small achievement, I'll always be proud of. And it happened because I believed I could, I trusted in the creative process, and delivered on my vision !
What inspired me, as a youngster, to create what I did, and to always think 'oustside the box' was because I looked at the world around me with a view to changing what I could, and understood clearly that it was very possible to accomplish that change. By keeping an open mind and staying tuned to the flow of a pure creative frequency, it allows for all things to become possible. Its much like being in a meditative state, or zone, in order to tap in to that source. Once you channel that vibe, there quite literally becomes nothing that you can't achieve. Its very awesome, and a great blessing.
As an adult, I am more inspired by the future, both in my art and in my music. And incorporate some motifs and designs within my work as acknowledgement of my cultural heritage. The music I play, and compose, is inspired by emotional experience, and is played on the accoustic or electric guitar. And a perfect example of not limiting what can be achieved, through creativity, is this: I taught myself an original piece of classical piano, having never played piano or had prior lessons ever in my life. Just sheer belief and determination, that it could be done, allowed for it to happen.
"My Random Original Piano Composition" Take a Look!
This, way of being, has extended into other areas of interest including general : Design, Fashion Design, Costume Construction, Hand-crafted Jewellery, Music & Lyric Composition, Poetry, Philosophy, Sculpture, Landscaping, Invention, and Business. There are links on this page to 2 projects I'm also working on, 'Stoneline Creations', and 'Michaneo Designs'. This is just a small indication of the huge influence creativity has, and how fully engaging it can be.
Also, Creativity principles are valuable elements to apply in any business setting. Not only do they share a similar dynamic essence, but they are also compatible in core areas of function. Where Creativity seeks to express and manifest itself, so too, does Business. Also, business exists, to serve a greater purpose, of ultimate connection to others. This is true of Creativity, as well. And, in the right environment and circumstance, both the growth of either, is limitless.
The difference between Creativity and traditional Business is that, one is decisive and structured, and, the other is flexible and free-flowing. But, when you merge these elements together, you will likely end up with a highly energized, motivated, loyal and dynamic team of focused, creative business minds, whose production rate is 'off the charts' because the environment is an ideal hub of equal elemental balance. What a fantastic place to look forward to !
And so, in summary, keeping an open mind is a great way to start, in the process of creating. Ideas begin to inflow better when theres no mental traffic, to distract. Strong belief, also plays a crucial role, in making something entirely possible. Always visualise the desired outcome, then, make the steps happen, to move you forward, to connect sooner, with that future. It really is that simple.
I guess thats why kids make such great little creative inventors. Because their minds are still free enough with vivid imagination !
I hope this has been helpful.
Please, feel free to check out my Artwork in MICHANEO DESIGNS gallery :)
